In depth discussion of the nuances and inconsistencies of the details of kegar and his appearance and described attributes has already occurred with Tyr. We are still waiting for kegar's next story update, where Tyr has said severally things will be described and explained in more detail, so just be patient and give him a break. We will get more of the absolute sweetheart that is kegar in time.
A couple of questions for this.
first, what are the Specter's Shoes, and how do you get them, they seem interesting?
second, What's with the inconsistency with getting the harness? it seems like every other play through I get the option after I defeat Barrel the first time, but i con never get it after? Is there some hidden requirement in the first fight that I'm missing?
Why does it seem like everyone who posts in here has been devoting to one route and not playing the others yet, including me lol?!
I just loved Kegar so much, and I absolutely love what we have for him so far, and knowing that the next update is supposed to be for him as well makes me so excited, even if it is supposed to be shorter than usual. Keep up the great work @Tyrving, and hope you're doing well in life!
Thank you! I actually already went and played through kegar's new update, and was delighted. I do have to say however, that my computer is rather small, and while the vn did run smoothly, it did not adjust to the window size. I was still able to enjoy it, and there were only a couple of times that it ever actually cut off some of the text. Just letting you know, it honestly wasn't a big deal.
To start with a mundane question, When is the browser version going up?
To add clarification on a totally separate matter: I don't have a problem with how Kegar looks. He is totally sweet and likable, and I am still preventing myself from playing the other routes. He is also very cute, which suits his personality wonderfully, especially considering how supportive and sensitive he is. The only issue is that he does not look like a lion. The game refers to him as a lion, and knowing that clashes with both his appearance and other details in the script, such as him apparently having no fur covering his body so he need sunscreen all over. Lions actually have fur that is specifically able to protect them from the harsh sun of the savannas they live in. So while I can't speak for everyone, I can say for myself that Kegar looks wonderful, and he is an amazing character and honestly the most expressive one so far, even though he has the least screen time so far, pre-route selection. The issue isn't how he looks, rather the fact that how he looks doesn't quite line up with other significant context, and It can be rather off-putting. It's not a bad thing, and I would never hate on a character so wonderful, but there is always room to improve and we are here cheering you on the whole way. [insert thumbs-up emoticon here]
Absolutely love this, Kegar is so sweet and likable that I'm stopping myself from moving past the route selection cause I want to do his first. My literal only issue with the entire vn is his art. Kegar is stated to be a lion, but his sprite looks more like a Dr. Seuss monkey. I still absolutely love the guy, but it could be even better.
